Ingredients: • 5.3oz(160g) butter • 1 egg • 3.5oz(100g) sugar • 6oz(180g) all purpose flour • 0.7oz(20g) green tea
1. Sift or mix the flour and green tea powder together until well blended. 2. In a large bowl, blend the butter until smooth.* 3. Add the sugar and blend until pale and fluffy.* 4. Gradually add egg and mix well (an electric blender works best) 5. Add the green tea-flour mixture. Stir lightly with a rubber spatula, just long enough to make the dough smooth. 6. Form dough into two rolls on waxed paper and chill overnight. 7. Slice rolls thinly into 5 mm (¼-inch) strips and bake on a cookie sheet at 180° C (350° F) for 12 to 15 minutes. 8. Remove cookies from cookie sheet and let cool.
